How we use donations

All donations go to rescue, medical treatment, fodder, shelter and the running of our ambulance and Goshala. A small share covers essential administration.

80G tax benefit

Gau Raksha Aapatkalin Seva is registered under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act ([80G NO]). Eligible donors can claim the applicable deduction on their donations.

Receipts

Two receipts are generated automatically after every successful online donation and sent by email and WhatsApp: an 80G receipt for your tax deduction, and a 12A receipt confirming the donation to our registered trust ([12A NO]). Please give your correct name and PAN.

Campaign funds

Donations to a specific campaign are used for that campaign. If it is over-funded, the extra goes to our general rescue fund.

Donations in kind

We gladly accept fodder, medicines and equipment. Please call us first so we can tell you what is needed most.

Transparency

Our accounts are audited every year. The annual report is available on our About page, and our Goshala is open for anyone to visit.

Foreign donations

We currently accept donations only from Indian citizens through Indian payment methods. [Update if FCRA registered.]
